I joined the Fitness Firm when it first opened in 1998. At that time, I was working and mostly did the classes after work and on Saturdays. Occasionally I had a trainer show me how to use the equipment so I had a balanced workout.

I am retired now and have had a personal trainer Diana Cummings for the past 7 years. I work out with Diana twice a week and she keeps me motivated and changes up the routine so I am never bored. I work with a trainer because it is important as we age to work on our core, balance, and strength.

I finally managed to get my husband Jim to join about 4 years ago and he agrees that working out helps keep you stronger and more flexible.

The Fitness Firm has a friendly family atmosphere and I would encourage people to join to stay healthy and happy. Betty Phelps
